I am batch converting over 200 GB of music. This is doing everything I need and more.

Using this to export iTunes music for non-apple devices. In iTunes I open the playlist I made for the device, and drag all the items to a new folder. Most of mul files are apple lossless. Then in this app I convert to a lower bitrate MP3 and have it arrange by Artist/Folder names. Then I copy that to my player. Works like a charm. I like that it can run up to 8 threads with lets me maximize my quad-core machine.

This app is wonderful; I just converted thousands of Vorbis (.ogg) files to AAC with no errors and with metadata needed for iTunes import intact. I had already converted my FLAC, MP3 and WMA formats yesterday using another product before encountering issues and may reconvert my library from backup…just because this product WORKS!!! Skip the others and buy this one; you will not be disappointed.

At first I was a bit unsure of buying this app, and what convinced me to buy this app were the reviews. And I have to admit, this app has to be the most stable, simple, and the fastest audio conversion app ever. I really reccommend it.

I had been using this app for the last few months but after 1.7.3 roled out it crashes at boot. I tried to unistall and reinstall but it want’s me to pay $9.99 again. I clicked on dev support and found that the website is now longer working. I’m not sure what has happened but it appears the app is no longer supported.

This app became my “go to” app for batch converting to whatever format I needed. Its quick, efficient, and haven’t had file corruption issues. Unfortunately, the recent patch has crippled the app and it immediately crashes when you try to run it. SO, its back to the drawing board and looking for another converter that works as well until the issue with the current patch is resolved. Hopefully, it will not be a long wait!

Great APP, used it often, loved the metadata editing. However, with this 1.7.3 update, the app no longer launches at all. It launches for a split second and immediately closes itself before any sort of GUI ever shows. I am running Mountain Lion 10.8.5 and nothing seems to fix this issue. Hopefully it will be fixed soon because if not i will have to find another solution. This is the only reason for my 3 stars, otherwise its a great app when its working.

I rely on this app for quick conversion and it worked excellent for this until the latest update! NOW IT CRASHES AT STARTUP AND WONT LAUNCH!! PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP!

I loved this app—converted, RSS tagged, all in one easy step. Then the last update happened and now it doesn’t open. Fix it so I can change my rating. UPDATE: Emailed support. Update in process for the app. And got a solution for the gap. And on a Sunday!

I have been in touch with the developer, and have learned that the 1.7.4 update that fixes the startup issue of this version is already submitted to the App Store and is awaiting approval for release. I notice he’s updated his app description along those lines as well, so I have returned my rating to five-stars, in anticipation of the release of the working 1.7.4 version.

This app is set up right, theres no doubt about it. Very easy to select files to be converted, just as easy to choose formats. Best feature: you can set up the output folder in Preferences, which means dragndrop, click, and youre done. When I convert 30 song files to mp3 and move them to a Dropbox folder, the whole process takes about 30 seconds.

I spent a lot of time looking for a way to convert a ton of files to mp3 and edit the ID3 tags. To my surprise there aren’t many other options. Pro Audio Converter is the answer to my prayers! Another feature that I love is having it automatically put the converted file back in the same folder and delete the old file. Saves so much time! Editing the metadata was a breeze. It batch converter at least 7 files at the same time, so it was super quick to get through hundreds of files. Just go ahead and try to find another app that does all this! I dare you!

I was looking for something to batch convert and keep the folder structure. Just pointed to the music folder viola! I tried another converter and it was super slowww! This one is great because it takes advantage of multi-threaded processors. Great stuff!

Its simple, fast, and gets to the point. I want to convert format A to format B and maybe adjust some options. Works perfectly. Highly recommended.

This is the best converter I have ever tried is so easyyyyyyyyy to use and super duper fast i loveeeeeee it i pay $10.00 for this is a little expensive but no regrets at all. Im a DJ and i really needed this app i download all types of formats and this app converts everything into Mp3 or any other format you want love it love it. This app really help me.

I have used this app for awhile and converted a lot of flac and other files. I like the ease of use and reading the embedded metadata to create mp3 or m4a files which imports into iTunes. It does, however, have problems with OS-X 10.9.2 (Mavericks) where it doesn’t work. The company is aware but can’t seem to find an answer. I hope they do.

Incredibly light, efficient, and it works. Make a video version next.

I had to come here just to add how much I love this app and how much it improves my life. I have to convert hundreds of audio files for audiobooks. They all have to be in specific orders, with the right frequency, bitrate, etc. etc. It’s a freaking pain to keep track of and to manage. This app does ALL OF IT. I just line up my files in their folders, click the preference that maintains the file structure, click Encode, and bam… 5 minutes later (I have a lot of files) the new files are in the right order, in the right directories, and have been converted correctly. Thank you thank you thank you for taking the time to make a great app that does all the right things easily and nothing more.

I cant believe how much trouble it was to convert .wma files to mp3s. I tried an expensive audio editing program with a batch converter (didnt work), a free application (Max, sometimes worked but didnt preserve metadata), and streaming the audio through VLC (extremely time consuming and results *ahem* varied). Finally I bit the bullet and downloaded this application. I cant believe how fast it was. The user interface is simple and obvious. This is going to simplify my way-to-many weird music files life.

This is the best audio converter I’ve used. It’s well-designed and the interface is simple to use. There arent any useless features and its very streamlined. There is an option to import your converted files to iTunes as they are being converted which is a big time-saver. There is also an option to transfer the metadata. This is the app iv’e been looking for to convert all my FLACs. Thank you.
